SureComfort Insulin Syringes

Precise Measurements | Easy-to-Read Markings | Single-Use Safety

Product Overview

SureComfort insulin syringes are designed for accurate measurement and comfortable administration of appropriately prescribed injectable medications.

Featuring easy-to-read measurement markings, a secure grip, and a lubricated needle, SureComfort syringes help make injection preparation and administration more manageable.

Each box contains 100 sterile, single-use syringes.

Available Sizes

50 Units (0.5 mL)

Ideal for smaller injection volumes.

  • Holds up to 0.5 mL of liquid.
  • Smaller barrel can make measuring small volumes easier.
  • A convenient option for prescriptions requiring less than 0.5 mL per injection.
  • May offer more precise measurement of smaller volumes, depending on the syringe's graduation markings.

100 Units (1 mL)

Ideal for larger injection volumes.

  • Holds up to 1 mL of liquid.
  • Accommodates larger prescribed injection volumes.
  • Offers more capacity when a dose exceeds 0.5 mL.
  • Useful when a larger volume must be measured in a single syringe.

Understanding Syringe Units

Both sizes use the U-100 measurement scale:

  • 10 units = 0.1 mL
  • 25 units = 0.25 mL
  • 50 units = 0.5 mL
  • 100 units = 1 mL

Important: Syringe units measure liquid volume, not the milligram or microgram dose of a medication.

The amount of medication in each unit depends on the concentration of the specific product. Always follow the exact syringe-unit instructions provided by your pharmacist or prescriber.

Why You Should Never Reuse a Syringe

One Injection. One Needle. One Syringe. Every Time.

Even when injecting yourself, using the same medication, or accessing the same vial, you should always use a brand-new sterile needle and syringe.

Reusing syringes can lead to:

  • Bacterial contamination: Used needles and syringes can introduce microorganisms into medication vials.
  • Increased infection risk: Contaminated equipment may cause skin infections, abscesses, or more serious complications.
  • Needle damage: Needles can become dull or damaged after use, potentially increasing discomfort and tissue irritation.
  • Compromised medication sterility: Reentering a vial with a used syringe can contaminate the remaining medication.

Changing only the needle does not make a previously used syringe safe to reuse.

Safe Injection Practices

  • Wash your hands thoroughly before handling injection supplies.
  • Use a new, sterile syringe and needle for every injection and every entry into a medication vial.
  • Clean medication vial stoppers with 70% alcohol and allow them to dry before puncturing.
  • Clean the injection site according to your healthcare professional's instructions.
  • Never touch the sterile needle or allow it to contact an unclean surface.
  • Never share syringes or needles with anyone.
  • Dispose of used syringes immediately in an approved sharps container.
  • Never place loose used needles or syringes in household trash or recycling.
